The front cover is simple but effective, for many reasons. The front cover has connotations of talent, dance and does match the magazine's true intent of publishing information about Performing Arts. Also, you have used bright colours such as green and yellow on black white, which shows the variety of colour, which can attract the core buyers eye. However, you could add more kickers and explanatory lines, to make it more interesting to look at. Also, you could add more of the stars that you put in the bottom corner as it stands out very well.
